THE PERFECT CIRCLE

God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit form the Perfect Circle.

We live in a complex world, and to understand the events that happen around us, it is best that we deal with simplicities. So, I will convey to you what the Lord put on my heart in a way that you can fully understand the relationship God wants you to have between you and Him and between you and His son Jesus Christ.

First, visualize this. In Matthew 11:27 Jesus said, “No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.” And in John 14:6, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me. And in John 6:44 and 6:65 it is written that no one can come to Him (Jesus) unless the Father draws him. So, here we see the circle. God the Father through His Holy Spirit convicts the hearts of people and draws them to Christ. And then after they become born again, Christ enables the faithful saints to know God the Father.

After we become new creatures in Christ [2 Cor. 5:17] the old nature has passed away and the new divine nature has come. We now have a divine nature because of the righteousness we have by Christ’s sacrifice for us. While we become new creatures in Christ, he is also in us, and that is why we have so much power available to us. But to tap into and access that power and the ability to do anything as it refers to in Phil. 4:13, we have to show our love for Christ by our obedience and submission to him. The Bible says when we do this that he will make himself fully known and real to us. [John 14:21], and also that he and the Father will come and abide in us. [John 14:23]

And Jesus prayed that God would send another Comforter (the Holy Spirit) to abide with us [John 14:16] and bring to remembrance all the things that Christ taught us [John 14:26]. Just image, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in us—the three persons of God who spoke us into existence and shaped us into the beings we are today. We need to acknowledge Him as Lord and demonstrate our love for Him by our obedience, submission, and humility. God will not reveal Himself to any prideful, and self-righteous people. In Matthew 18:13 Jesus tells us those who humble themselves like children are the ones who are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

You cannot know God by head knowledge, by knowledge of the gospel and the way to God, or by being able to quote a lot of scripture. It is by Epignosis-true knowledge that comes through a personal relationship. 2 Peter 1:3-11, Col. 1:9-11.

This was alluded to in the Gospel of Mary which was excluded from the original Canon. In it was written that Mary had a special knowledge in regards to her relationship to Christ that the disciples didn’t even have, and one that made them envious of her.

Although God reveals Himself by creation, through His prophets, and the works of Jesus, it is through our personal relationship with Christ that we really can know Him. We have to consider God a vital necessity in our lives [Jer. 29:13] and when we seek him will all our hearts, we will find Him, or as I like to say, He will allow Himself to be found because He is in control of whom He wishes to reveal Himself. We should not deceive ourselves and think we need only to hear the word for God to hear us and respond to our prayers. We need to dig in and truly believe and trust God [Ps. 118:8] and look with great expectation of what He’s going to do in our lives as little children would. We have to be hot for God—not lukewarm, or He will spit us out of His mouth [Rev. 3:16]

We should not doubt God for one minute His ability to do anything or everything. He is El Shaddai, God Almighty. And the great I AM. Your level of belief parallels your ability to and success of eliminating all doubt. The uncompromisingly righteous have eliminated all doubt, whereas the consistently righteous have eliminated most doubts, and the righteous doubt even more. Did you know that saints that have raised people from the dead in addition to working in unity have committed themselves not to doubt? Meditating on God’s word day and night as stated in Joshua 1:8 is key. That’s how you get the word in your system and in your spirit. And when your spirit agrees with God’s spirit, that’s when things happen.

CONCLUSION

The perfect circle is God the Father (by His Holy Spirit) drawing us to Christ (and once we are saved and in Christ), Christ is the gateway to our truly knowing God the Father, and the Holy Spirit bringing to remembrance all the things Christ taught us. No one but the Father knows the Son, and no one but the Son knows the Father and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Where do you see yourself in relation to this circle?

  1. I love this analogy. To me, it mimics the cycle of life and that which occurs in nature. Everything comes full circle and completes a cycle. Just as Jesus came from heaven, completed God’s will on Earth, and gave us the gift of salvation. Then rose again from the tomb and returned with his Father God. A complete circle and cycle completed. I think our actions and how we live our lives comes back full circle too in the same way. What you give out in the world comes back full circle too. We are always learning and growing in Christ. Nice post.
