I constantly think about how blessed I am. God who has loved me as much as His only begotten son [John 17:23] has shown His goodness and mercy through His amazing grace [unmerited favor] which has enabled me to escape perdition [destruction] and have everlasting life. Tears of joy run down my face because I know I didn’t deserve this gift, but by God’s supreme sacrifice by His son and sinless Lamb Jesus Christ, I have all the riches I could possibly want.
Recently I came across a little booklet called Life’s Abundant Blessings and I would like to share with you excerpts from it that will open your heart to the blessings that surround you.
When you wish someone joy, you wish them peace, love, prosperity, happiness…all the good things. – Maya Angelou
Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf. -Albert Schweitzer
Happiness is caused by things that happen around me, and circumstances will mar it; but joy flows right on through trouble; joy flows on through the dark; joy flows in the night as well as in the day; joy flows all through persecution and opposition. – D.L. Moody
There is no promise God cannot keep, no prayer God will not answer, and no problem too hard for Him to solve. – Adrian Rogers
Do not be anxious about anything; but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ. – Philippians 4:6-7
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. – 1 Peter 5:10
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. – Irish Blessing
May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. – Traditional Gaelic Blessing
CONCLUSION
We have so many things to be thankful for as we have the assurance that we have nothing to fear because God holds us in His mighty right hand. The evidence of His presence is all around us.
Did this encourage you to appreciate the things around you that you may have overlooked? Did this inspire you to share your gratitude and joy with others?

Yes Indeed. Be grateful for the little things. Clean water, a place to sleep, and food to eat. Many people don’t have as much. There is beauty in every day as it’s a gift to wake up daily.
