A YEARLY STUDY OF SALVATION -PEACE

woman confident inspiration

In the book, God’s Plan for Man by Finis Jennings Dake salvation is characterized by mainly addressing sixty areas. I will attempt to discuss each of these areas. These areas were listed on this blog post on October 13, 2021. Today, I would like to discuss #33 Peace.

Peace is a change of mind, a new tranquility in God.

The following are some scripture verses associated with Peace:

Acts 10:36   The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all).

Romans 5:1   Therefore being justified by faith; we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 14:17   For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13   Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Ephesians 2: 14-18   For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition (barrier) between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enemy thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were far off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Col. 1:20    And having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Galatians 5:22, 23   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. Against such, there is no law.
