A YEARLY STUDY OF SALVATION- DELIVERANCE

Christian believer cross

In the book, God’s Plan for Man by Finis Jennings Dake salvation is characterized by mainly addressing sixty areas. I will attempt to discuss each of these areas. These areas were listed on this blog post on October 13, 2021. Today, I would like to discuss #11 Deliverance.

Deliverance is a change of bondage, a new liberty before God.

Some of the associated scriptures are as follows:

Luke 4:18    The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

Galatians 5:1   Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians 5:13   For brethren, if ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

2 Cor. 3:6-17   Now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

James 1:25   But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

.CONCLUSION

Deliverance is a change of bondage and new liberty before God. We are set free from the bondage of Satan and transferred to the easy yoke and light burden of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Do you appreciate the fact that you, as a believer, are no longer in bondage to Satan? In our new Master lies the truth, and the truth shall set you free. You may give your comments below..
