A YEARLY STUDY OF SALVATION -PREDESTINATION

man reading bible

In the book, God’s Plan for Man by Finis Jennings Dake salvation is characterized by mainly addressing sixty areas. I will attempt to discuss each of these areas. These areas were listed on this blog post on October 13, 2021. Today, I would like to discuss #51 Predestination.

Predestination is a change of decree, a new destiny in God.

The following are some scripture verses associated with Predestination:

Romans  8: 28-30    And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Ephesians 1:5, 11   Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, (foreordained)

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.

Ephesians 3:10, 11   To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.

According to the eternal purpose which he purposed (planned) in Christ Jesus our Lord.

CONCLUSION

Predestination is a change of decree, a new destiny in God. All that we do was predestined by God.

Have you prayed to God and asked Him what He has planned for your life?
