In the book, God’s Plan for Man by Finis Jennings Dake salvation is characterized by mainly addressing sixty areas. I will attempt to discuss each of these areas. These areas were listed on this blog post on October 13, 2021. Today, I would like to discuss #48 Providence.
Providence is a change of supply, a new provision in God.
The following are some scripture verses associated with Providence:
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all things shall be added unto you.
Phil. 4:18 But I have all, and abound; I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.
Mark 11:22, 24
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt I his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore, I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them,
John 15:7, 16 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit ant that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
Psalm 84:11 For the LORD is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
CONCLUSION
Providence is a change of supply, a new provision in God. God will provide all your needs through Christ Jesus.
