BEGINNINGS

Beginnings

And so the adventure begins,

I start my journey now,

not knowing where it will run

or to whom

or to what,

I only rejoice in the happening,

the beginning,

the start.

For each journey must initiate

someplace

sometime;

This is mine today.

Wish me luck.

Pray for me.

But know in your heart:

I will reach the goal,

I will win the race,

I will triumph!

It could be no other way.
