IT’S TIME TO GET ORGANIZED

In today’s world everybody is busy, stressed, and anxious from ongoing challenges, tests, and trials. It has been shown that people can suffer certain illnesses from being constantly worrying about the pressures of life. So, it would behoove all of us to make an attempt to reduce stress as best we can. Now, some things are within our control and others are not. One of the things that we can work on to improve is our organizational skills.

The following are some suggestions on helping you get more organized. They are not complicated, but they require you to be in a teachable mode (attitude) and you have to exercise discipline and consistency. If all the other ways you have tried to have some organization have failed, this might be worth a try. In other words, if nothing’s working, it can’t hurt.

16 SIMPLE IDEAS TO MAKE YOU MORE ORGANIZED AND EFFICIENT

  1. Start planning the night before.
  2. Before you retire write a short schedule for the next day and pray over each item.
  3. Take care of tedious tasks the night before.
  4. Do the most important things first.
  5. Go to bed on time. Try to get 8 hours of sleep.
  6. Get up before your family. Put on the Amor of God [Eph. 6:13-17] and pray
  7. Don’t keep your phone or computer by your bed.
  8. Resist the temptation to use your phone when you first wake up.
  9. Use a prayer calendar if you want to read the Bible in one year.
  10. Read a devotional if the spirit leads you. (Everybody is different)
  11. Read Psalm 127:2, Psalm 55:22, Matthew 11:28-30, and 1 Peter 5:7
  12. Read one chapter of the Bible a day. Study and meditate on it. Don’t glance over it.
  13. Journal for 15 minutes. Reflect on the day’s events. Did you please God?
  14. Exercise as time permits. Determine the amount of time you can devote to this. Also, think of where you will be able to do this. With exercise, consistency is key.
  15.  Read a book after you read the Bible if you have time.
  16.  Meditate on God’s word day and night [Joshua 1:8] so you will get it in your spirit.

  1. These are great spiritual growth tips to get organized. I also find that writing things down in a list helps me be more organized and productive. Prayers as soon as I wake up too. Let God be the first thing on your mind set’s the tone for the day.
