A YEARLY STUDY OF SALVATION -JUSTIFICATION

cross clouds in sky

In the book, God’s Plan for Man by Finis Jennings Dake salvation is characterized by mainly addressing sixty areas. I will attempt to discuss each of these areas. These areas were listed on this blog post on October 13, 2021. Today, I would like to discuss #46 Justification

Justification is a change of state, a new righteousness in God.

The following are some scripture verses associated with Justification:

Romans 3: 20, 23, 24. 28   Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Romans 3:29, 30, 31   Is he the God of the Jews only? Is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also; Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. Do we then make void (nullify) the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Romans 5:1, 2, 9   Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom we also have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

1 Cor. 6:11    And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Galatians 3: 6, 8,11    Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Acts 13:38, 39   Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. And by him, all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

CONCLUSION

Justification a change of state, a new righteousness in God. Our justification only comes from the sacrifices of our Lord Jesus Christ.
