In the book, God’s Plan for Man by Finis Jennings Dake salvation is characterized by mainly addressing sixty areas. I will attempt to discuss each of these areas. These areas were listed on this blog post on October 13, 2021. Today, I would like to discuss #13 Blood.

Blood is a change in life, a new life from God.

Some of the associated scriptures are as follows:

Leviticus 17:11   For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make my atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Matthew 26:28   For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission (forgiveness) of sins.

Romans 5: 8-10   But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

1 John 1:7   But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Revelation 1:5   And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him, that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

Revelation 5: 8-10   And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of the harps, and golden vials full of odors (incense), which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests; and we shall reign on earth.

CONCLUSION

Blood is a change in life, a new life from God. And because Christ shed his blood for us, we can now stand before God Father with a clean slate. Only the blood of a sinless Lamb could make this happen. We owe everything to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
