MY OATH TO YOU

hands in

Only a friend will give you his oath. And this means so much because a true friend will back up what he says. He will not speak empty, meaningless words. They will be true and spoken with sincerity. This is true of God. What He says is true, and furthermore, what He says will come to pass. In Numbers 23:19 it says that God is not a man that He should lie or the Son of man that he should repent. And in another scripture, it says that God’s word is tried, tested, and true.

One of the beautiful things about God is that He knows our needs, even before we express them. He can meet our every need and can be whatever we need Him to be to make us whole and complete. He is our Lord and Saviour, but He also can be our friend, lover, and provider. In John 17:23 it is written that God has loved us, even as He has loved His own son. What an honor and what a blessing!

God is a friend that you can trust. Listen to the oath that He pledges to you.

When you are sad,

I will dry your tears.

When you are scared,

I will comfort your fears.

When you are worried,

I will give you hope.

When you’re confused,

I will help you cope.

And when you are lost,

And can’t see the light,

I shall be your beacon

Shining ever so bright.

This is my oath,

I pledge till the end.

Why you may ask?

Because you’re my friend.

Signed GOD

CONCLUSION

There are times that we feel we’re alone when we face our challenges or fight our battles. But it is precisely at that time when God, in the person of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, will meet our needs or fight our battles. Hence, we can see how God the Father put Jesus Christ at the heart of His grace. This is why in the Bible God says, ” My grace is sufficient for your needs.” For when we have Christ, by His grace through faith, we have everything.
