A YEARLY STUDY OF SALVATION -HEALING

four people meditating

In the book, God’s Plan for Man by Finis Jennings Dake salvation is characterized by mainly addressing sixty areas. I will attempt to discuss each of these areas. These areas were listed on this blog post on October 13, 2021. Today, I would like to discuss #42 Healing.

Healing is a change in health, a new health in God.

The following are some scripture verses associated with Healing:

Psalm 103:3     Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

Matthew 8:17   That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Isaiah 53: 4,5    Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24     Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

James 5:16   Confess your faults to one another and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

CONCLUSION

Health is a change in health, a new health in God. We have obtained our healing from the stripes that Jesus endured.
