Senior Pastor Anthony Menzel
Once in a great while, God will put one of His special saints in your life whose impact on your very being will be monumental. Such is my story when I met and ultimately was under the tutelage of Senior Pastor Anthony Menzel.
Anthony Menzel is in the category of people that can’t be defined by just one discipline. He is a dynamic multi-faceted individual who has excelled in many areas of his life.
He is an accomplished educator who has received multiple awards for his teaching skills. As a bilingual science teacher in Eastside High School in Paterson and East Orange High School in East Orange, NJ. He was awarded the distinction of the teacher of the year at Eastside High School in 2010. And in both schools, he motivated his students to be top achievers. He also has been a teacher research intern in the chemistry department of Rutgers State University in Newark. His licenses and certifications include the following:
- Teacher of Chemistry, NJ Department of Education, Issued in Aug 2011
- Teacher of Bilingual/Bicultural Education, NJ Dept. of Ed Issued Jul 2006
- Teacher of Biological Science, NJ Department of Education, Issued 2003
- He has a Masters of Science-Environmental Science from Indiana University in Bloomington (1995-1997)
- He has a Master degree in Divinity-Pastoral Ministry from Trinity College and Theological Seminary (1999-2002)
He is an established self-published author who has written the following books:

- Poetry books–Starling Feathers (2014) and Seashell Echoes (2013) in English
- Rays of Light/ Rayos de Luz–a Spanish-English bilingual poetry compilation (2013)

Pastor Anthony speaks three languages-English, Spanish, and limited German.
Pastor Anthony is the definition of a Godly man. I initially met him in our former church The Word of Life Christian Ministries in Dover, NJ. Pastor Anthony is now the Senior Pastor and founder of Abundant Love Christian Church in Randolph, NJ since 2011. They are presently looking to purchase a new building in the near future.
I have tried to highlight Pastor Anthony’s credentials and accomplishments, but these are just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. This is a saint who is not only very educated, but he is incredibly compassionate, and always operates in grace. He is non-judgmental and instead is a motivator and one who encourages, and inspires his congregation, students, and everyone with whom he interfaces. He edifies the saints and has picked the perfect motto for his church. He focuses on teaching the saints how to love God and motivates them to be the best they can be.
I went to his church and I was honored to be under his teaching and supervision until I relocated to another county. I was in his discipleship training as I aspired to be an assistant leader in the church. He was one who took the responsibility of teaching, counseling and grooming seriously. I learned more from him than any previous pastor. He had the full support of his family, especially his mother Pastor Mary who is one of the Godliest saints I know. So, he came from good stock.
Pastor Anthony lines everything up to the word of God and one who tests the spirits.
He knows that when we know the truth, the truth shall set us free. He is honest and transparent, and he always speaks the truth in love. He is a prayer warrior and is a very accomplished singer. He often ministers in song while he gives his sermons. Being a former singer myself, I can really appreciate that. His mother Pastor Mary has also informed me that his sermons are being heard in several countries as more and more people are finding out about him.
So, I encourage all of you who are looking for a good church with a Godly saint at the helm, seek out Pastor Anthony Menzel of Randolph, NJ. He is truly one of a kind.
CONCLUSION
When looking for a good church, do your homework and seek a good and faithful local Shepherd who will preach the full gospel and show you compassion with grace.
