Previously, I offered some suggestions on how to reduce stress. However, most of these suggestions were relating to reprogramming the mind. But as I said, mind renewal is intertwined with the body and the spirit. There is a saying that you are what you eat. And some of what you eat can affect your stress levels. The following are some recommendations.

- Swiss Chard- This has stress-fighting nutrients
- Sweet Potatoes-These are a lower-carb choice
- Kimchi-This lowers stress, it is made with cabbage, and has probiotics
- Artichokes-These are rich in probiotics
- Organ Meats-Liver, heart, kidneys of cows and chickens have B12, B6, Riboflavin, folate and affect stress control
- Eggs- These have vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and choline for brain health.
- Shellfish- These have amino-acids and mood-boosting properties
- Acerola Cherry powder
- Fatty fish- These have Omega 3s, fats, vitamin D
- Parsley- The have antioxidants
- Garlic- This has a sulfur compound that increases levels of glutathione. It helps stress and lowers blood pressure.
